1.      Summary of a Leadership
Definitions of a Leadership
Leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal.
Leadership is an activity to affect others that want to work voluntarily in order to achieve the purpose of the group (George Terry)
As a proses direction and influence on the activities of a group who are related to their duties. (Stoner)
Study Leadership Approach
Character Approach : Leaders viewed or arising out of a combination of traits that appear in a person.
Behaviors Approach : Leaders are seen or arise from their personality that related to to their leadership.
Contingency Approach : This view consider that the conditions that determine the effectiveness of leadership varies with the situation of the tasks performed, skills and organizational environment, expectations and so forth.
Elements of Leadership
·         The existence of a movers cadre
·         Any participant who is participated, communication, purpose of the organization.
·         The presence of a benefit that not only enjoyed by a part of a members

     The Styles of Leadership
·         Task Oriented : Manager directs and supervise the underling as a closed to make sure that the task has been given are done like it should
·         Employee Oriented : Manager prefer to motivate the underling rather than supervise them, the member of the group has a chance to develop and achievers
